The Kent County Local Management Board (KCLMB) and nonprofit Everyday Canvassing will be knocking doors and flyering from August - October 2025 to inform and listen to households about their experiences, concerns, and priorities.
These surveys and conversations will be the foundation for the Chestertown Children’s Agenda, which will be the pilot for similar plans in other Kent County communities going forward. We will focus on reaching the people in demographics historically underrepresented in public decision-making. We intend to, in partnership with local residents, canvass (knock doors to have conversations with) and flyer all of the approximately 2,000 residences in the area.
