What we did

Everyday Canvassing conducted relational door-to-door outreach and story-based interviews across Kent County, with a focus on communities facing access barriers and low institutional trust. The engagement prioritized listening over extraction, creating space for residents to share lived experiences related to youth services, family support, and community well-being.

GOAL

Center the voices of youth, caregivers, and families to inform more equitable policies, programs, and funding decisions in Kent County.

OUTPUTS/REACH

  • Door-to-door interviews conducted with youth and families in Chestertown

  • Community priorities and equity concerns documented through direct conversations

  • Findings used to inform youth- and family-focused planning and investment
